Neil 'Razor' Ruddock joins the E's

13 August 2018

We are delighted to announce that none other than ex England international Neil ‘Razor’ Ruddock has joined the coaching team at Enfield.

Razor, who played for Tottenham, Southampton, Liverpool and West Ham amongst others, brings a vast amount of experience to the backroom staff.

Manager Matt Hanning said, “we are delighted to have Neil on board for the upcoming season. After the Fa Cup defeat on Saturday everyone needed a lift and this is one that the boys can really look forward to.”

It’s a real coup for the club and a real sign of intent for the new campaign.

Neil said, “I’m looking forward to getting with the lads and sharing the knowledge I have picked up through my career. I’m lucky enough to have been coached by some of the games best coaches and if I can share what I’ve picked up over the years with the players and other coaches here then it can only help.”

Assistant manager Terry Fogarty said, “all the lads have met Razor a few times. He pops in the changing rooms when he comes to watch the games and you see it gives the lads a buzz. To have him on the staff now is brilliant. Matt has assembled a good team here now with myself and Tony (Stavri) working closely with the outfield players and Lee (Hanning) working the keepers’ so to add Neil to that will be fantastic.”

Welcome Neil to the E’s family.
